We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide healthcare support and nursing services to students in a school-based setting. Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care and first aid services to students and staff
Assess, monitor, and manage student health concerns, illnesses, and injuries
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with district and state guidelines
Maintain accurate student health records and medical documentation
Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and support 504 and IEP accommodations as needed
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and healthcare providers regarding student health needs
Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate care and follow-up services
Conduct health screenings and promote wellness education programs
Ensure compliance with state nursing regulations, school health policies, and federal guidelines
Support infection prevention, chronic disease management, and student safety initiatives 

Qualifications
Required
Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
Current CPR and First Aid Certification
Experience working with pediatric, school-age, or adolescent populations
Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary educational team
Knowledge of student health plans, medication administration, and school health protocols 

Preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Previous experience as a School Nurse, Pediatric Nurse, or Community Health Nurse
Experience supporting students with chronic health conditions, disabilities, or special healthcare needs
Familiarity with IEPs, 504 Plans, and school-based healthcare services
Experience with electronic health record systems and educational documentation
