CNC Machinist

Job Overview ProMach’s HMC division is seeking a talented CNC Machinist to manufacture parts according to drawings, maintain raw material inventory in accordance with inventory control policies, and perform preventative maintenance on machinery. The role is situated in a modern, clean, and climate‑controlled facility that produces world‑class packaging equipment for a global customer base. Responsibilities Operate and program Haas CNC mill and lathe machines safely and productively. Plan machining by studying detailed/complex blueprints and work orders, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD & T). Download and edit programs, entering instructions, setting zero and reference points, tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches. Calculate requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry, and prove part programs. Verify settings by measuring positions, testing first‑run parts, and inspecting sample work pieces. Partner with engineering on R & D projects. Maintain quality control through inspections. Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly. Qualifications Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience, preferably in a custom machine shop environment. Experience running Haas CNC equipment preferred but not required. Excellent safety practices and mindset. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple jobs simultaneously. Ability to read machine drawings and blueprints. Ability to take direction and follow through with assignments. Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and maintain good attendance. Must work well in a team and collaborative environment. Ability to perform own set‑ups and produce quality parts from drawings with minimal supervision. Benefits Competitive salary.
