The Role

This Co-op experience provides participants with a meaningful, relevant work experience as part of their academic studies. In addition to daily responsibilities, participants will have the opportunity to participate in a series of structured activities designed to enhance their learning experience including:

• Presentation Challenges

At the conclusion of this position, co-ops will have increased their knowledge of investing, the mutual fund industry, employee engagement, and a firm understanding of how sales works at an asset manager.

MFS co-op positions are a 6-month commitment, working Monday Friday (beginning on Wednesday, January 13th through Friday June 25th, 2027), and work between 35-40 hours. Our program is designed for undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in a co-op program through their college or university and can meet our requirements.

About DCI Sales

The Defined Contribution Investment (DCI) Sales Co-Op participant is considered to be an integral part of the DCI Team and are provided with tasks that provide tremendous educational exposure. A DCI is essentially a type of retirement fund, and is one of our most important products. This position offers a great opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in sales. The DCI Sales Co-op will assist all areas of the department on product distribution activities. In addition, gain a fundamental understanding of the financial services industry by working with numerous stakeholders of the organization. The environment is fast paced, dynamic, fun and engaging.

What You Will Do

• Work with Key Accounts group to help with meeting follow ups to be exported to internals
• Any type of Salesforce data entry: Adding new DCI reps to Salesforce from lists provided from internal/external, and scheduling activities
• Lengthy literature orders to offices per request of the internal/external sales teams
• Existing literature orders placed at Harte Hanks, sending follow ups to internals.
• Territory specific mailings: ordering literature (either through Harte-Hanks or by the copy center) stuffing envelopes, and creating labels.
• Scheduling and setting up for meetings, booking conference rooms, organizing video conferencing needs.
• Running call reports: DCI team, on a daily and monthly basis.
• Assisting with efforts with Discovery to update client information and scrub data feeds
• Working with Brightscope data to ensure accuracy

What We Are Looking For

• Proven attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively and efficiently.
• Working knowledge of computer based programs including MS Word and Excel.

Hourly Pay Rate: $21.00-$25.00
