Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, specifically in Neuro and Stroke cases, utilizing EPIC charting in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 1:2, sometimes 1:3.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care based on the individualized care plan.
Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs.
Collaborate with healthcare team to implement and evaluate patient care.
Adjust to floating requirements to other units as needed.

Requirements:

Illinois RN License
Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
2+ years of strong ICU experience, specifically in Neuro and Stroke
Passed EKG test with 80% or higher
EPIC charting experience
