Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit

Shift: 12h Day/Night, 3x12 Flex, Rotating Day/Nights

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Start Date: 08/09/2026

Job Description:

This position involves providing high-level nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit, with a focus on Neuro and Stroke cases, utilizing EPIC Charting. Flexibility to float to other units and facilities as needed.

Responsibilities:

Deliver patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
Monitor and document patient conditions using EPIC Charting.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care is maintained.
Maintain flexibility in assignments and be willing to float to other units or facilities if required.

Requirements:

Current Illinois RN License
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, specifically in Neuro and Stroke
Passed EKG test with a score of 80% or higher
