Work Environment\n

This position allows for a flexible remote work setting, enabling you to engage with patients effectively while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our normal working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on the emergent needs of our patients. You will have the tools and resources necessary to facilitate therapy sessions and coordination of care, including access to electronic health record systems that streamline documentation and communications.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological wellbeing, focusing on the interplay between their mental health and medical conditions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that integrate both psychiatric and medical interventions, ensuring a coherent approach to patient care.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each patient’s unique situation and treatment goals.

• Work closely with physician colleagues to coordinate care, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during critical mental health emergencies, helping clients navigate urgent situations responsibly and effectively.

• Educate patients and their families on the connections between mental and physical health, empowering them to take charge of their well-being.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, including timely documentation and reporting.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences, contributing insights and collaborating on integrated care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary responsibility will be to serve a diverse patient population, including individuals grappling with co-occurring conditions such as chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Tennessee.

• Strong understanding of treating mental health needs in patients with co-occurring medical conditions and a commitment to integrated care approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to foster strong relationships with clients and the healthcare team.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries, adhere to ethical guidelines, and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficient use of technology in delivering care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
