The Warehouse Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and a safe working environment. This role involves coordinating staff, optimizing warehouse processes, and maintaining accurate records to support overall supply chain objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Oversee receipt, storage, and distribution of goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock audits
- Implement and improve warehouse processes to maximize efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinate with other departments to support operational goals
- Monitor equipment maintenance and manage warehouse facilities
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators.
