Relied upon to work efficiently within the procedures of each part of the operation while keeping in line with the standards of The Los Angeles Country Club and expectations of its membership.Position ResponsibilitiesPractice FacilitiesConsistently present entire practice facility in a pre-determined fashion each dayKeep chipping greens clear of golf balls after member and guest useRake all bunkers after member and guest useKeep range deck clear of broken tees when possibleCommunicate with Starter to ensure players head to the first tee in a timely and orderly fashionCommunicate with Golf Instructors to make sure they have all supplies necessary for their lessonsMake sure the practice facility is fully stocked with golf balls in all necessary stations by periodically picking and cleaning used golf balls throughout the dayClean all golf balls hit onto the range before presenting them for use againWork with Golf Professional staff with extra duties during tournaments and eventsBag RoomMaintaining an up to date bag storage book that matches assigned bag slots for ease of bag retrievalAlways be present & visible to deter members retrieving their own bagsClean all members clubs before storing them after playCommunicate with Starter to pull members golf bags in a timely fashionCheck rental sets to make sure no clubs are missing after useKeep bag storage area clean and presentable at all timesPerform club repairs such as re-gripping, re-shafting and other basic club repair servicesCommunicate with Cart Barn Attendant to ensure appropriate number of golf carts are availableGreet and assist all members or guests coming off the course and/or driving rangeWork with Golf Professional staff with extra duties during tournaments and eventsCart BarnMaintain the daily cleanliness and restocking of cart fleet at all timesKeep cart barn clean and organized at all timesUtilize cart rotation program for equal use among cart fleetFollow Armor-all detailing scheduling program to maintain spotless cart fleetReport all cart maintenance issues to immediate supervisor in a timely fashionRemain in communication with starter and bag room attendant to ensure proper number of carts are parked up top for member and guest useWork with Golf Professional staff with extra duties during tournaments and eventsQualificationsSpecific Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectivelyAbility to work harmoniously with patrons and fellow employeesAbility to learn and enforce course policies, rules and regulationsAbility to follow verbal and or written instructionsAbility to use equipment and tools properly and safelyGood oral and written communication skillsMust be physically able to do assigned work as outlinedEducationHigh school graduateExperienceOne (1) year previous experience in country clubs is preferredPhysical DemandsWork involves lifting, pushing, pulling, loading or carrying 60lbs or moreWork involves moving/driving equipment or motorized golf cartsWork involves bending, squatting, stooping, scrubbing, pushing, pulling, stirring, reaching, lifting, sitting, and twisting.Work involves climbing or runningWork involves being outside or exposed to weather conditions over a long period of timeWork involves long periods of standing or walking The Los Angeles Country Club
