Mid-Level Labor & Employment Employment Advice & Investigations Associate

Position Overview Polsinelli is seeking a mid-level Associate (3–5 years of experience) for the Labor and Employment – Employment Advice & Investigations Practice Group in our Los Angeles office. Ideal candidates will have excellent academic credentials, experience in a law firm or a similar environment, superior writing, communication, and problem‑solving skills, and a JD with California bar admission. Key Responsibilities Represent employers in employment law matters, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful discharge. Provide California‑specific legal advice, counseling, and compliance guidance on leave laws and wage‑and‑hour regulations. Analyze complex employment issues, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple cases efficiently. Support the growth and national outreach of the firm’s practice group by collaborating with other attorneys and assisting in business development activities. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience representing employers in employment law matters. Strong background in discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful discharge, leave laws, and wage‑and‑hour compliance. Ability to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively. Ambition, drive, and a team‑oriented mindset. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $260,000–$390,000, commensurate with experience. Discretionary bonus based on performance.
