Are you organized analytical and passionate about healthcare The Pharmacy Business Support Specialist helps keep pharmacy operations running efficiently across Deaconess Health System through a combination of business operations data analysis purchasing compliance and pharmacy support.

Your area of focus may include Purchasing & Inventory 340B Charge Validation Regulatory Compliance or Stewardship.

What Youll Do

• Coordinate purchasing receiving inventory and supplier relationships.
• Process orders invoices and financial transactions while resolving discrepancies.
• Analyze data and create reports spreadsheets and dashboards to support pharmacy operations and quality initiatives.
• Support 340B controlled substance diversion monitoring regulatory compliance audits and inspections.
• Coordinate required clinical quality data collection reporting and submissions.
• Partner with pharmacy leaders physicians staff suppliers and other departments to identify trends and improve processes.
• Communicate medication recalls shortages and compliance concerns.
• Assist as a Pharmacy Technician when needed to support drug distribution.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure accurate timely completion of assigned work.

What You Bring

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician-in-Training license in the applicable state.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician designation within 30 days of employment unless exempted by manager discretion.
• Strong computer database and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent organization communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred:

• College degree in business or related field.
• Experience with healthcare operations purchasing inventory data analysis compliance or project management.
