OFFICE SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Evansville, Indiana | Full-Time | On-Site

Ziemer, Stayman, Weitzel & Shoulders, LLP is seeking a dependable, organized Office Support Specialist to assist with the firm’s administrative, billing, and general office operations.

This is a full-time position consisting of approximately 80% administrative support and 20% reception responsibilities. The position works closely with firm management and staff and requires someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and able to manage multiple responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with billing, expense entry, accounts payable, and related financial records.

• Maintain spreadsheets and assist with credit card reconciliations and reporting.

• Provide administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer, including correspondence, scheduling, and document preparation.

• Assist with employee onboarding, benefits enrollment, and other HR administrative tasks.

• Provide administrative support to the firm’s Small Claims team as needed.

• Provide reception coverage, primarily on Fridays.

• Assist with mail distribution, office errands, and miscellaneous administrative projects.

Qualifications

• Prior administrative or office support experience desired.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information and manage multiple responsibilities.

Experience in a law firm or with legal billing software is helpful but not required.
