Residential Construction Superintendent

A leading residential construction company is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day field operations of high-quality residential projects. The Superintendent will lead subcontractors, coordinate schedules, maintain quality control, and ensure projects move efficiently from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations for residential construction projects
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain quality-control standards
• Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with building codes and safety requirements
• Review plans, specifications, and project documents
• Identify and resolve construction issues quickly and effectively
• Track materials, deliveries, and jobsite progress
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers, homeowners, architects, and subcontractors
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional jobsite
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within established budgets

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential construction experience
• Previous experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, scheduling, and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
• Ability to maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail
