We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our Pre-Production team on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for producing precision-formed metal components that support the manufacturing of vehicle assemblies and custom transportation equipment. What You’ll Do Set up and operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal components to specification. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, drawings, and production instructions. Verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools. Inspect completed parts to ensure quality and compliance with specifications. Load, unload, and organize materials safely and efficiently. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance. Identify quality concerns and communicate issues to supervisors. Utilize production documentation and work order systems as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Qualifications What We’re Looking For Experience operating press brake equipment preferred. Ability to read blueprints and production drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic shop math. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and metal fabrication. Forklift experience preferred or willingness to become certified. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and positive attitude. Bonus Qualifications Press brake setup experience. CNC press brake programming experience. Experience working with stainless steel, aluminum, or mild steel. Previous fabrication or welding environment experience. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and heavier materials with assistance.
