Overview Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER RN) travel assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. Start date: 07/27/2026 for 13 weeks. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, triage, and stabilization upon arrival in the ER.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments per physician orders; perform emergency procedures such as wound care and splinting.
• Monitor patient status continuously, interpret changes, and adjust interventions with the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff; document care in appropriate health records.
• Respond to rapid response calls and code blue situations; uphold infection control and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the State of Oregon.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications are required.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
• CRASE training: If travel assignment extends beyond 6 months, CRASE training will be required.
• Experience: None required; prior clinical experience preferred.
• Physical and situational prerequisites: ability to perform essential ER nursing duties, work long 12-hour night shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand/walk for extended periods.
