Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough traffic analyses and studies to understand patterns and trends.
• Perform road safety assessments and identify potential hazards or risks.
• Develop and implement traffic management plans to optimize traffic flow.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate traffic engineering solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of traffic systems and make recommendations for improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest traffic engineering technologies and best practices.
• Prepare reports and documentation for traffic-related projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
• Ensure compliance with local and international traffic engineering standards and regulations.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to the overall project management process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in traffic engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of traffic analysis techniques and road safety principles.
• Proficiency in using traffic engineering software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with local traffic regulations and standards in Qatar.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
• Valid professional engineering license or the ability to obtain one.
• MMUP registration is mandatory.
