Director of SEC Reporting - Miami FL (hybrid schedule)

\n

\n

RESPONSIBILITIES

\n
    \n
  • Draft and file Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and Section 16 reports (Forms 3, 4, 5)
    • \n
  • Research new US GAAP and SEC accounting rules to see how they impact the company
    • \n
  • Oversee the XBRL tagging process for all SEC filings
    • \n
  • Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls related to financial reporting processes
    • \n
  • Partner with the legal, investor relations, and subsidiary teams on disclosures and earnings releases
    • \n
  • Work closely with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
    • \n

REQUIREMENTS

\n
    \n
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, Masters of Accounting is preferable
    • \n
  • CPA license is required
    • \n
  • 8+ years combined in Big 4 public accounting and industry SEC reporting management
    • \n
  • Hands-on knowledge of SEC regulations and public company reporting requirements
    • \n
