Planner I
The Planner I supports production scheduling and planning activities under close supervision. This role focuses on data accuracy, schedule maintenance, and execution support to ensure manufacturing orders are released and tracked in accordance with production priorities and quality requirements. Supports AS9100 compliance under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, release, and maintain work orders and travelers in ERP/MRP systems
• Update production schedules based on material availability and shop status
• Track work-in-progress (WIP) and report schedule status
• Coordinate with production supervisors to confirm daily priorities
• Verify BOMs, routings, and lead times for accuracy
• Support planners and schedulers with data analysis and reporting
• Maintain planning documentation in accordance with AS9100 requirements

Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of manufacturing workflows
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Works with operations to ensure customer delivery schedules are met
• Primary customer contact for all non-engineering customer inquiries

Educational Requirements

• •High school diploma or equivalent

• 0–2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing support
• Internship or entry-level experience in manufacturing environments acceptable

Working Conditions

• Office-based with frequent interaction on the manufacturing floor
• Exposure to production activity, machinery, and noise
• Occasional overtime may be required to support delivery commitments

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
• Ability to walk the production floor and attend meetings
• Occasional lifting of documents or materials (up to 20 lbs)
