Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive and culturally informed mental health assessments, employing systematic methodologies to thoroughly understand each patient's unique experiences. Develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based interventions tailored to individual and cultural needs, actively engaging patients in the process. Facilitate therapeutic sessions, including individual, family, and group therapy, focusing on mental health concerns to foster resilience and enhance overall well-being. Coordinate care by collaborating closely with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure holistic support for patients. Patient Population / Client Focus As a therapist with Health Booster Counseling Clinic, you will be primarily working with a diverse clientele, including individuals from ethnic and cultural minorities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrant populations. Your expertise in culturally responsive therapy will empower you to make a significant difference in the mental health journeys of these individuals, tailored to their backgrounds and life experiences. Qualifications A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution, ensuring a solid theoretical grounding for your practice. Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York to provide professional services legally and ethically. Demonstrated depth of understanding regarding mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies, paired with effective application in culturally sensitive therapy. A history of experience delivering both individual and group therapy through inclusive and responsive methods, showcasing your adaptability and client-centered approach.
