Our organization is in search of a Medical Director for the Mid-West and West Region to lead and oversee women's health services strategically. This role combines administrative leadership at our facility with clinical duties as an OB hospitalist at another location. The Medical Director will be tasked with ensuring the provision of top-notch, evidence-based care while promoting innovation and managing performance enhancement initiatives. This position also necessitates close collaboration with leadership teams across various departments, including Pediatrics, Neonatology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and others, to ensure that departmental goals align with the broader objectives of the organization.

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies aimed at improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of women's health services.
• Recruitment: Support the expansion and development of medical and advanced practice provider staffing within women's service lines.
• Program Oversight: Manage the daily operations of women's services provider teams, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Clinical Excellence: Provide direct patient care as an OB hospitalist, maintaining a partial clinical schedule in labor and delivery and related areas. Clinical responsibilities will constitute 0.5 FTE at the designated hospital, with the remaining 0.5 FTE focused on administrative duties across both facilities.
• Quality Improvement: Spearhead quality and safety initiatives, track clinical outcomes, and apply evidence-based protocols.
• Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment among women's health providers, interdisciplinary team members, and multidisciplinary partners.
• Partnership with System Leadership: Act as the main liaison between the hospitals and leadership teams to ensure alignment of departmental and organizational strategies, goals, and standards.
• Education & Development: Mentor and assist in the ongoing professional growth of providers and staff, encourage continuing education, and oversee the onboarding of new team members.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards, including those set by the Joint Commission and state/federal regulations.
• Patient Experience: Champion initiatives that enhance patient satisfaction and engagement within women's clinical programs.

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in OB hospitalist practice, Maternal Fetal Medicine, or a related OBGYN program is preferred.
• Proven leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to manage teams and implement strategic initiatives.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A strong dedication to providing high-quality patient care, emphasizing safety and continuous improvement.
• Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and executive leadership.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Florida.
