Milling Technician / Entry-Level Milling Operator

Banks Construction Company is looking for hardworking, dependable individuals who are interested in starting or growing a career in the heavy highway construction industry. As a Milling Technician / Entry-Level Milling Operator, you'll work with our milling crews to help prepare roadways for resurfacing. You'll learn how existing asphalt is removed, how milling equipment works, and how our crews prepare roads, highways, and other paved surfaces for new asphalt.

This is an entry-level field position. Previous milling or construction experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

This position requires flexibility with scheduling. Candidates must be available to work days and nights, depending on project needs, weather, and crew schedules. Hours may vary, and overtime may be required.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, willing to learn, and ready to work hard. The ideal candidate:

• Wants to build a career in construction
• Is interested in learning milling, paving, and heavy civil construction
• Enjoys hands-on work and being part of a team
• Can work outdoors in different weather conditions, including heat
• Is comfortable working around active equipment, traffic, and jobsite conditions
• Is flexible and available to work both day and night shifts as needed
• Shows up on time and is ready to work each day
• Takes safety seriously
• Has a positive attitude and is willing to help wherever needed
• Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Previous construction, paving, milling, equipment, or labor experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
