Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact in the lives of students while expanding your expertise as a full-time Occupational Therapist for the 2026/27 school year. This contract position offers the chance to work in educational settings near Middletown, DE, supporting students’ development in both academic and daily life skills. Your experience in OT across healthcare, school, and home health environments will help ensure every child receives the tailored care and support they need to succeed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Demonstrated experience providing OT services in school, home health, or healthcare contexts
  • Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and educational therapy approaches
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students
  • Deliver OT interventions in classroom, small group, and one-on-one settings
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate staff and families on strategies to foster student independence and participation
  • Adapt therapy techniques and goals to meet unique student needs throughout the academic year
