Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students (grades 9-12) as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact, working approximately 15-18 hours per week within the school day (7:30 AM–3:00 PM). With a flexible start around early September and continuing through early June, you’ll help empower student communication and growth.
You’ll work with a manageable caseload of 17-24 students, providing mainly group direct services, along with some individual and consult services. Your expertise will also contribute through thoughtful participation in IEP meetings, plus comprehensive writing and progress monitoring for IEP goals. This contract role offers competitive hourly compensation between $45 and $55, recognizing your specialized skills and dedication.
Ideal candidates possess:
- Valid licensure and credentialing as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience delivering services in a school-based environment, particularly with students in grades 9-12
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort with balancing group interventions, individualized student support, and consultative services
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering group and some individual direct speech/language services
- Participating actively in IEP meetings with colleagues and families
- Preparing thorough IEP documents, managing progress reports, and maintaining accurate records
- Consulting with teachers, staff, and parents to optimize student outcomes
