Chief of Staff

An environmentally focused investment firm that is working to save the planet is seeking a Chief

of Staff to support its CEO. This employer strongly values work-life balance and wellness and

has designed a hybrid schedule that reflects those values. In addition to the office support

responsibilities of this role, you will be responsible for managing the employer's homes. There is

no travel required for this position, and the principal's out-of-state homes can be managed

remotely. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is highly-organized, detail-oriented,

and passionate about the environment.

Qualifications

• Passionate about the environment

• Prior experience as an executive assistant, chief of staff, operations manager, or any other

operations leader

• Experience managing a calendar and making travel arrangements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience supervising staff or outside vendors

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Microsoft Office Suite proficient

• Mac/PC proficient

• Tech-savvy

• Detail-oriented

• Highly organized

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and other executive leaders

• Perform administrative duties, including screening calls, managing calendars, making travel

arrangements, and processing expenses

• Identify areas for improvement and make actionable recommendations

• Plan, oversee, and lead projects from beginning to end

• Supervise administrative staff

• Assess risks and opportunities to inform business decisions

• Manage the principal's 5 homes when required

• Oversee household staff and vendors when required

• Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, reports, and presentations

• Act as both a gatekeeper and relationship manager for the principal• Handle information with discretion and confidentiality

• Conduct research to develop strategies and make well-informed decisions
