East Aurora Country Club is an 18 hole private golf club in Wester New York. Established in 1916, EACC has been home to the International JR Masters since 1953. Originally designed by noted architect Wayne Stiles, the course has undergone renovation under the watch of William Harries and most recently, Ian Andrew. East Aurora Country Club is in search of a 2nd Assistant Superintendent who is looking to be involved in the upkeep and day to day management of the golf course. EACC is a one of a kind, member owned, private club in the western NY area with rolling hills and elevation change. With a welcoming membership and a strong commitment to work/ life balance, EACC is a special place. Responsibilities • Pesticide and/or fertilizer applications
- Proficient in safe Equipment operation
- Course set-up
- Trim work
- Irrigation repair and operation
- Hand watering
- Mowing and upkeep of all playing surfaces
- Building repair and upkeep
- All other duties necessary to meet member expectations
- Snow Removal
- Tree maintenance
- Frequent bending turning, kneeling and stooping
- Exposure to hot and cold temperatures
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to operate a golf cart and other turf management equipment in a safe manner
- Normal vision and hearing ranges required.
- Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language.
