Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as a patient and family advocate, providing guidance and support as they navigate the healthcare system to access necessary resources.

• Facilitate ongoing patient education and reinforce understanding of treatment pathways to ensure that clients and their families can actively participate in their care.

• Diagnose mental health disorders following thorough assessments, using evidence-based methodologies to inform your clinical decisions.

Our clients come from a variety of backgrounds, presenting an array of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. As an LMFT at Stanford Mental Health Care Center, you will interact with individuals, couples, and families, offering support and guidance tailored to their unique circumstances. Qualifications\n

• A valid license in Marriage and Family Therapy, with a completed Master’s degree in a relevant field.

• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in providing mental health services, preferably within a health-related setting.

• Proficient knowledge of regulations pertaining to privacy, health, and safety laws affecting mental health practices.

• Strong coaching skills to empower patients to embrace positive changes and navigate their therapeutic journey effectively.

• Exceptional organizational skills to maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, ensuring ease of access and clarity in documentation.

• Outstanding therapeutic and counseling skills, complemented by the ability to motivate and engage clients throughout their treatment process.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within outpatient mental health facilities or community mental health programs.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, or solution-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
