What You'll Do

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, passing instruments and sutures to surgeons
• Assist in setting up operating rooms with supplies, instruments, and equipment based on physician preference cards
• Support pre-operative patient care, including skin preparation and patient positioning
• Transport and comfort pre-operative patients, respecting privacy and sensitivity
• Monitor biological specimens and ensure proper handling and documentation
• Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to safety standards throughout procedures
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams in specialty areas such as Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, and Robotics

What You Need

• BLS certification via AHA
• Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN license
• 2+ years of experience in a surgical setting

• Ability to scrub multiple specialty areas
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
