Location & Compensation Hunterdon County, NJ Base Pay: $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr Sign-On Bonus: $300 (additional $150 after 45 days, $150 after 60 days) About Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides Comprehensive Youth and Family Support Services to primary caregivers of children and teens with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We serve families across New Jersey. Job Summary As a Behavioral Technician, you will support children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in‑home, in‑community, and in‑center environments. Typical staffing includes 5–20 hours per week with 2–4 hour shifts, primarily scheduled in the evenings. Roles & Responsibilities Provide non-physical, emotional, and behavioral support to children and families Ensure the safety and well-being of the client Implement strategies outlined in each child’s Individual Support Plan Conduct functional assessments, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Use redirection strategies to manage behavioral concerns Submit visit notes promptly following each session in accordance with organizational and compliance guidelines. Respond to crises using de‑escalation and safety strategies Engage clients in interest‑based activities to support growth and awareness Attend case reviews, team meetings, and required trainings Follow all agency protocols, procedures, and professional guidelines Qualifications Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available) High School Diploma required Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field is preferred but not required.
