Principal Clinical Specialist

Abbott seeks a Principal Clinical Specialist for its Electrophysiology business in Orlando, Florida. This senior clinical role provides advanced technical and educational support for complex EP products, serving as the primary clinical interface with physicians and healthcare professionals across defined accounts.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced clinical, engineering, and sales support for complex EP field inquiries on 24-hour on-call basis
- Act as senior clinical interface between medical community and Abbott EP business
- Develop, lead, and facilitate training programs for healthcare professionals on EP products
- Mentor and provide leadership to other EP clinical support staff and clinical associates
- Identify and report customer needs, product performance, and sales opportunities to management and sales leadership
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of clinical experience in electrophysiology
- 2+ years in senior EP Clinical Specialist role
- IBHRE EP certification
- Ability to perform and mentor others on complex EP mapping cases
- Revenue and case volume exceeding national average
- Top performer ranking in case completion across clinical group
- Prior industry or competitive experience required if external candidate
