Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager

Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates to senior management. Support the management of permits, inspections, and compliance with local regulations. Track project progress and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders. Address and resolve issues that arise during project execution. Ensure safety standards are maintained throughout the construction process. Facilitate effective communication among team members and external partners.The Successful Applicant2+ years of experience in commercial construction as an Assistant Project Manager. Experience with municipal, hospitality, healthcare, education, and/or light industrial construction highly preferred. Ground-up and renovation construction experience highly desirable. Understanding of commercial construction means, methods, and sequencing. Working knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and cost control. Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities. Proficiency with construction management platforms such as Procore and Bluebeam preferred.What's on OfferCompetitive salary between $85,000 and $105,000 annually.
