Manager - Distribution

Manager - Distribution Location: Kapolei, HI (ASU) Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year Key Responsibilities Coordinate day‑to‑day delivery of products, develop efficient distribution plans, and provide drivers with route instructions. Facilitate sales transactions and monitor shipping volume; collaborate with logistics coordinators and communicate supply plans to customers. Steward inventory through ERP transactions, monitor demand and inventory levels, identify supply risks, calculate forecast accuracy, and provide visibility on inventory status. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and surface opportunities for logistical refinement. Coordinate bulk distribution to customers and neighboring island branches, support optimal inventory levels, and perform demand or consumption analysis. Develop visibility into operations: analyze and manage costs, optimize routes and frequencies, contribute to budgets, and monitor efficiency indicators. Perform accurate data analysis and propose adjustments. Maintain registrations, heavy‑tax clearances, and maintenance for assigned scope. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Experience managing international freight forwarders, optimizing global transit lanes, and overseeing end‑to‑end ocean and air cargo logistics. Strong working knowledge of Hazmat shipping regulations (DOT, IMDG, IATA) and proven ability to maintain fleet and warehouse compliance. Demonstrated success in inventory control, maintaining stock accuracy, and aligning warehouse levels with daily distribution demands. Valid U.S. employment authorization; no visa sponsorship required. Preferred Qualifications 1–3+ years of logistics experience.
