Starting at $17.86/hr | Full-Time | 8am-4pm

Are you a warm, organized professional who loves being the friendly face people see first? Spring Arbor of Cary is looking for a Receptionist to serve as the welcoming first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and vendors in our community.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the first point of contact via phone and in-person for prospects, residents, families, associates, and vendors
• Greet all guests, visitors, residents, and vendors warmly, creating a welcoming community atmosphere
• Answer the telephone, take messages, and direct visitors and vendors to the right person
• Retrieve, prepare, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and packages daily
• Maintain confidentiality of resident, associate, and community information
• Receive and log resident maintenance requests through the Company Work Order system

What You Bring

• At least 18 years of age
• 1+ year of receptionist experience in a professional business environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Comfort with office equipment - copy machines, calculators, multi-line phone systems
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening
• Willingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy

Areas of Responsibility

• First point of contact via telephone and walk-in traffic with prospects, residents, family, associates, and vendors.
• Greet all guests, visitors, residents, and vendors in a positive, friendly manner while ensuring a welcoming Community atmosphere is established.
• Answer the telephone, take messages, greet, and direct visitors and vendors to the appropriate party.
• Responsible for the daily retrieving, preparing, and distributing of both incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and packages.
• Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident, associate, Community and Company information deemed as such.
• Receive resident requests for maintenance in their apartments using the Company Work Order system.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as receptionist in a professional business environment.
• Must have working knowledge of appropriate Microsoft Office programs.
• Must have working knowledge of office equipment such as copy machine, calculator, and multi-line telephone system.
• Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
