Business Sales Account Manager

Generate new business and incremental revenue to meet or exceed sales targets. Retain, manage, and grow the existing customer base. Coordinate with support partners to educate and excite customers about leveraging innovative business solutions. Proactively establish, build, and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers. Present and create multi‑product solution opportunities. Demonstrate a knowledgeable understanding of wireless and mobility products, including cloud, security, ISP, VoIP, and Google platforms, to successfully promote and position solutions. Track and report progress through consistent use of sales force automation tools. Location and Travel This position supports a wireless sales territory in the Greater Detroit area. The role is hybrid and requires being within commuting distance for in‑person meetings, customer site visits, and occasional visits to Verizon locations for training and meetings. Travel within the assigned geographic sales territory may be up to approximately 50% of the time. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. Four or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience. Experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation. Willingness to work in a mobile working model with travel within your assigned geographic sales territory (up to ~50% travel). Valid driver’s license. Preferred Two or more years of business‑to‑business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling. Technology sales experience, such as SaaS sales, CRM, Salesforce or other client management tools, and use of social media. Strong presentation skills in face‑to‑face and virtual environments. Experience building and maintaining business relationships with all levels of client organizations. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, self‑directed, entrepreneurial environment. Excellent time‑management and prioritization skills to accomplish goals. Ability to implement feedback and tailor strategies for success. Work Environment In this mobile role, you will work from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in‑person training and meetings.
