Night Auditor

Department: Front Office Reports To: Front Office Manager / Hotel Manager Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Schedule: Overnight Shifts (typically 11 PM – 7 AM) Location: Comfort Inn Warner Robins – Warner Robins, GA Job Summary The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing hotel operations during the overnight shift. This includes balancing daily financial transactions, running end-of-day reports, assisting guests with late check-ins or early check-outs, and ensuring the safety and security of the property during nighttime hours. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently with a strong focus on guest service. Key Responsibilities Perform nightly audit of hotel revenue and reconcile daily financial activity. Prepare and distribute end-of-day reports for management and accounting. Check guests in and out, process reservations, and handle guest inquiries or complaints. Monitor lobby and public areas to ensure safety and cleanliness during overnight hours. Verify and balance charges, payments, and room rates in the property management system (PMS). Handle cash, credit card transactions, and deposits accurately. Ensure all front desk tasks are completed, including setting up the next day’s reports, wake‑up calls, and communication logs. Respond to emergency situations and follow hotel safety and security procedures. Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams regarding any issues that arise overnight. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or accounting background preferred. Proficiency with hotel property management systems (e.g., OPERA, OnQ, Cloudbeds, etc.). Strong math and computer skills. Excellent customer service and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours. Must be reliable and punctual.
