What You’ll Do:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Verify patient information and update electronic medical records.
• Schedule patient appointments, ensuring appropriate demographic and insurance information is captured and updated, and scheduling protocols are followed.
• Collect patient co-payments and process payments; schedule return appointments as needed.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with insurance verification and other tasks assigned.  

Requirements:

• 2 years’ minimum experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Proficient in using office systems such as electronic medical records (EMR) software.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Scheduling experience a plus.
