Under the supervision of the Lead Vactor, the Voice Actor (Vactor) is responsible for interacting with and entertaining guests while performing both as a cartoon character with the 4D immersive and interactive 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Adventure, as well as a Show Host in rotation along with the current roster of Vactors/Hosts.EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Theatrical, performance, and entertainment experience and skills are preferredREQUIRED SKILLS:Must be reliable and responsiblePublic speaking and improvisational skills are requiredVideo gaming skills (manual dexterity with an X-Box Controller) are preferredCandidates must have the aptitude and attentiveness required to perform with an open microphonePosition requires frequent contact with co-workers and continuous direct contact with guests.Must be charismatic, energetic, outgoing, and family-friendlyMust be dependable, have the ability to exercise sound judgment, be able to plan and be well organized and have excellent oral and written skillsAbility to work well under pressure and take initiative to solve problems quicklyPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Manual/bi-manual dexterity, fine motor skills, hand/eye coordination, near vision, and excellent hearing and speech are requiredFrequent standing, walking, stepping up/down, bending, and reaching is requiredMust be capable of lifting a minimum of 50 poundsMust be capable of climbing ladders and stairsRoutine exposure to bright lights, loud noises, and heat can be expected #J-18808-Ljbffr Moody-Gardens,-Inc.-Resort-and-Attractions
