Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative (GCEC) is a member-owned electric cooperative, serving an area across 6 counties in the panhandle of Florida. Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
Related Experience: 5 years of building maintenance experience.
Job Description
- Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior. Including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry/drywall, generators, etc.
- Contacts and schedules vendors and contractors for necessary building repairs and emergencies that are outside the scope of routine maintenance.
- Maintains schedule and records of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due.
- Works in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe situations. Takes appropriate action to ensure safety of themselves and others in the building.
- Assist with office moves, assembling new furniture, and reconfiguring offices or meeting spaces.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Employment is subject to a negative drug test, background check, physical, and completion of a comprehensive application for employment.
