In addition, the Medical Assistant is responsible for phlebotomy and assisting with the application and removal of casts.Key Responsibilities:Collect and report data to assist the multidisciplinary team in the evaluation of patient needsPerforms a variety of comprehensive registration and scheduling functionsDemonstrate open, accurate and timely communication with patients, families and interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective therapeutic interventionsRequired Qualifications:Medical Assistant CertificationBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationPreferred Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent1+ years of Medical Assistant experienceCompensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
