Maintenance Supervisor

About the Role The Essity Global Supply Chain/Manufacturing team in North America is looking for an experienced Maintenance and Reliability Leader (salaried maintenance supervisor) to work out of our manufacturing facility in Menasha, WI. What You Will Do Direct and manage the Maintenance department in alignment with the company’s strategic plan. Lead the successful application of Total Productive Maintenance within your department. Build consensus for and implement changes to equipment/processes to improve production, cost and reliability while meeting usability, maintainability and cost expectations. Forecast maintenance needs and execute work to meet timelines and budgets. Ensure the efficient and effective maintenance of manufacturing and mobile equipment. Assist in developing the annual manufacturing maintenance budget, monitor expenditures and report variances. Design and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to optimize equipment life and reduce cost. Monitor vibration monitoring programs and determine machines for periodic/continuous monitoring. Use alternative condition‑monitoring technologies such as acoustic emission, thermography, motor current and oil analysis. Recommend field corrective actions such as balancing, alignment and replacement of parts. Perform Root‑Cause Failure Analysis according to Essity’s Breakdown Elimination enabler. Prepare condition reports, recommend corrective action and report the effectiveness of repairs. Generate departmental SOPs and act as training facilitator. Interface with predictive maintenance vendors. Prevent machine failures by increasing awareness and condition‑monitoring performance. Lead the implementation of the Environmental, Health and Safety, Quality/Food Safety System (QRESH) policies and procedures to meet or exceed customer expectations and certifications (ISO:14001, SFQ, etc.). Demonstrate leadership in environmental protection, compliance and continual improvement of environmental performance. Promote the philosophy that QRESH stewardship is everyone's responsibility. Perform other essential responsibilities as deemed necessary. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Paper Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of maintenance leadership or equivalent technical experience. Maintenance planning experience with knowledge of recognized planning practices. Ability to learn and use SAP or another CMMS quickly. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Leadership experience with a customer focus on industrial reliability.
