Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in an urban healthcare facility. This position involves providing high-quality acute care in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities encompassing routine and complex patient assessments, treatments, and patient education, adhering to established clinical protocols. The role requires independent practice, clinical judgment, and effective delegation to team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift (12-hour shifts), minimum of 36 hours per week, from 10/19/2026 to 01/18/2027
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA); current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA); current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA); current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification; RN license in the state of Texas or a compact state
• Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in emergency nursing or a related specialty
• Additional Information: New nurses will attend a comprehensive orientation program within the first 30 days of hire, including organizational and emergency department-specific competency validation. All new hires participate in residency or specific orientation programs, with competency completion documented through the designated tracking software.
