Ultrasound Technologist Maternal Fetal

The Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer is responsible for performing detailed ultrasound imaging in a high-risk maternal and fetal care environment. This role involves conducting 7-9 detailed ultrasounds daily, including fetal echocardiography, and assisting with invasive procedures such as amniocentesis, amnio reduction, CVS, and PUBS. The sonographer reports findings to Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians and collaborates closely with the care team. Strong expertise in OB-GYN ultrasound and outpatient experience are essential. This position requires immediate availability and adherence to strict attendance policies. Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed maternal and fetal ultrasounds, including fetal echocardiography.
• Assist with invasive procedures such as amniocentesis, amnio reduction, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), and percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS).
• Report ultrasound findings accurately to Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment across multiple rooms at different hospital locations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care to high-risk maternal and fetal patients.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards during all procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic electronic medical record system.
• Adapt to facility needs by floating within scope as required.

• Active ARDMS certification in OB/GYN and Nuchal Translucency (NT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of OB-GYN ultrasound experience.
• Proficiency in fetal echocardiography.
• Experience in outpatient ultrasound settings.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record system.
• Ability to assist with invasive maternal-fetal procedures.

• Experience working in a Maternal Fetal Medicine or high-risk obstetrics environment.
• Additional ultrasound certifications or specialized training related to maternal-fetal imaging.

• No weekend, night, or major holiday shifts.
• Strict no call, no show policy which may disqualify candidates from future positions.
• Position is open to clinicians nationwide with immediate start required-no start date delays allowed.
• Scrubs may be any color with no prints.
• Must be available for scheduled interviews; failure to attend may impact future opportunities.
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs is expected.

• Five 8-hour day shifts per week (5x8 days).
• No weekend or night shifts required.
• Shift assignments are fixed with no major holiday coverage.
