Job Summary and Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

As a Dietary Technician, you will act as an ambassador and support the mission of our hospital by optimizing the quality of life of our patients.

Your duties will also include (but not limited to):

• Assisting patients with menu selections in compliance with therapeutic diets
• Having clerical responsibilities including filing, keeping records of forms, menus and other office supplies used in clinical area
• Ensuring proper sanitation of all dishes, flatware, trays, pots and pans, utensils
• Communication with a variety of personnel and healthcare providers

Qualifications:

• Team-oriented
• Excited to work in a fast-paced environment
• Organized and can provide exceptional customer service
• Able to read and speak English
• Comfortable working with email, electronic records, telephone systems, and various computer programs
• Safe Serve Certification preferred
• Previous Food service experience preferred
• Experience and understanding of therapeutic diets
