Provide engineering support to manufacturing, quality, H&S, sales, costing, and maintenance on automotive products, equipment, and tooling. Prepare and deliver information, technical reports, and presentations to management, customers, vendors, and technical partners. Contribute to concept generation and ideation processes. Maintain and protect the confidentiality of proprietary information. Perform other duties which may become essential to the position. Lead regular technical reviews throughout all phases of a project. Interact with production and engineering at all levels. Travel worldwide for the company as required (possibly up to ~25%) Manage projects that drive the creation of new battery designs or improvements to existing products for the OE and Aftermarket customers. Create, maintain, and update published technical information. Support other application engineering personnel as needed. Represent East Penn as the technical interface with the OE and Aftermarket customers. Field calls and e-mails from East Penn sales contacts, OE, and Aftermarket customers. Lead customers on in-plant tours Evaluate devices that interface with the battery in an OE application Participate in the testing, reviewing, and approval of battery designs. Evaluate the measured performance (cpk/ppk) of processes to ensure the processes' ability to fulfill customer and EPM performance and safety requirements.

Previous project engineering or management experience required. Prior manufacturing experience; familiarity with the battery construction process preferred
