Description: Progressive Cardiac Care Unit Information: Number of Beds: 34. Number of Staff: 44. Type of Staff on Day Shift: 11 PCTs, 12 RNs. Type of Staff on Night Shift: 6 PCTs, 13 RNs. Patient Ratios: 1:5 for PCU level, 1:6 for MST level. Type of Equipment: VS machines, EKG, bladder scanning, glucometers, continuous pulse oximetry. EMR: Meditech. On Call Requirement: None. Floating Requirement: Within scope of practice. Typical hiring profile: Most recruited for: Travel RNs. Preferred or Nice to Have: PCCN, TNCC, TCAR certifications.

List of typical procedures performed on the unit: Foley and NGT insertions. Wound care.

Best Personality Fit: Flexible, adaptable, and a quick learner. Positive attitude.

Additional Information: Upskilling staff to take PCU level patients. Recently became the official trauma PCU. Flexible with scheduling. Positive work culture.
