Registered Nurse - RN

Join our Inpatient Spinal Cord Injury Physical Rehab Unit, 6N! Primary Patient Population: • Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Primary skills utilized/learned:

• Ventilator/Trach Care
• SCI retraining (Bowel & Bladder management program)
• Wound prevention and care
• Specialty treatment and technology for regain of function
• Rehabilitation specific education for patient/family

Personnel RN will work with: • LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers/Case Management, Respiratory Therapy, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Art & Music Therapy, Dieticians Number of beds on unit: • 24 beds Awards or Recognitions the unit has received: • National Model System MetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance. • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN

• Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or other Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
