Join our close-knit team in providing high-quality, compassionate companion animal care to our local community. Great opportunity to work in a supportive rural clinic where you will interact with clients daily, assist with diverse medical cases, and continuously expand your clinical skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with patient exams, preventative care, and active medical cases.
- Connect directly with clients to welcome patients, discuss treatment plans, and provide pet health education.
- Support surgical procedures, including preparation and monitoring for routine and non-routine operations.
- Assist with dental procedures, prophylactic care, and general patient recovery.
- Maintain accurate medical records and assist in keeping the clinic clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications & Skills
- Passion for small town / rural veterinary care.
- Eagerness to learn, build clinical skills, and collaborate in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach with clients.
- Prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician is preferred, but motivated candidates willing to train are encouraged to apply.
