Global Talent Partners is excited to present an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Medical Director to join a highly respected, AAHA-accredited companion animal hospital in the Cedar Rapids area.
This role is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about both exceptional clinical care and developing people. You'll lead an established, collaborative team while continuing to enjoy a varied clinical caseload, giving you the opportunity to influence medical standards, mentor fellow veterinarians, and help shape the future direction of a successful hospital.
About the Practice
This long-established, multi-doctor hospital has built an exceptional reputation for delivering compassionate, progressive veterinary medicine across a broad range of companion animal species. The practice combines modern equipment, experienced support staff, and a collaborative culture where doctors are encouraged to share knowledge, discuss cases, and continually develop their clinical skills.
The hospital is home to an experienced team of five veterinarians, supported by credentialed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, an experienced hospital manager, and dedicated client care representatives who work together to ensure outstanding patient care and an efficient daily workflow.
As an AAHA-accredited hospital with Fear Free Certified Professionals, the practice is committed to delivering the highest standards of medicine while creating a low-stress experience for patients and clients alike.

The Opportunity
As Medical Director, you'll divide your time between clinical responsibilities and leadership, helping guide the medical direction of the hospital while fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Providing clinical leadership and mentorship
•Supporting and developing fellow veterinarians
•Maintaining high medical standards and best practices
•Collaborating on complex medical and surgical cases
•Helping recruit, retain, and develop veterinary talent
•Partnering with hospital leadership to support continued growth
•Continuing to build strong relationships with clients while practicing exceptional medicine
