We'd love to talk if you're looking for a role that supports your professional growth and connection to a vibrant community.We are hiring a program medical director to serve in both a clinical and leadership capacity.Local Team Collaboration:Join our close-knit team of 14 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers at Mercy Medical Center.We have enjoyed our partnership with Mercy Medical Center since 2015 and are a trusted and consulted team on many hospital-wide initiatives.We value our collaboration with the nurses and specialists throughout the hospital. Patients are our top priority, and we do a great job of always keeping that focus at the forefront.Qualifications:Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.Minimum of two years of hospital medicine leadership experience in an Associate Medical Director or Director-level role.We proudly sponsor H1B visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required filing fees for the visa are covered by Sound.Scheduling:A combination of clinical and administrative time.8 clinical shifts per month, and 84 hours a month of protected administrative time.Key Responsibilities:Provide oversight and leadership to a team of seasoned providerscollaborate with both Sound Physicians leaders, as well as hospital leaders, in meeting key goals in care delivery and quality metricsLiving and Working in Cedar Rapids:Many who come to Cedar Rapids are pleasantly surprised to find a highly diverse population base.
