Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department is responsible for the delivery of high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, and maintain excellent communication with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and implement appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform IV blood draws and administer moderate sedation.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs using advanced equipment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
• Document all patient interactions and procedures in the EMR system (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
• TNCC certification is required.
