Position Overview: The Technology Investment Banking team of Cantor Fitzgerald is seeking highly motivated, successful candidates with direct investment banking experience for an Associate position in San Francisco. Cantor Technology Investment Banking offers Associates the exceptional opportunity to gain direct exposure to clients and senior bankers. Associates play an essential role in developing and managing our client relationships. Our Associates are an integral part of our deal teams, taking an active role in the coverage and execution of a broad range of transactions for our clients. Responsibilities: Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including modeling, to assess investment opportunities and target company performance in the Technology sector Market Research: Stay updated on Technology industry trends and market dynamics, providing valuable insights and recommendations to clients Deal Support: Assist in M&A advisory, equity, and debt capital market transactions by preparing pitch materials, conducting due diligence, and contributing to deal structuring Valuation: Create and maintain complex financial models for company and asset valuations using various methodologies Managing and Mentoring Analysts Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of Investment Banking experience (Analyst to Associate promotes or MBA Associates with 1+ years of experience) Experience in the technology industry Superb oral and written communication skills Takes ownership of work and can perform under pressure Educational Qualifications: Completion of the following Exams: SIE, Series 63, Series 79 Salary Details: The expected base salary for this position ranges from $175,000 to $225,000. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
