HR/Recruiting Coordinator

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Coordinator to support day-to-day recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and HR administration activities. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple priorities, and ensuring a smooth experience for candidates, new hires, and hiring managers throughout the employment process.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting hiring initiatives, maintaining HR documentation, coordinating onboarding activities, and ensuring hiring processes stay on track from application through orientation.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate job postings across multiple platforms and assist with recruiting activities.Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing timely updates and scheduling interviews.Prepare interview packets and coordinate interview logistics with hiring managers and candidates.Maintain applicant tracking records, hiring documentation, and recruitment-related files.Monitor hiring workflows and ensure critical hiring checkpoints are completed on schedule.Prepare onboarding materials and ensure new-hire readiness prior to start dates.Collect and process new-hire paperwork and required employment documentation.Support orientation scheduling and onboarding logistics.Track screening, background check, and onboarding status updates.Provide regular hiring and onboarding progress updates to hiring managers and HR leadership.Assist with job fairs, recruiting events, and other talent acquisition initiatives as assigned.Format, organize, and maintain HR documents, forms, and records.Support general HR administrative functions while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.QualificationsAssociate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent relevant experience preferred.Two to four years of HR, recruiting, administrative, or related experience preferred.Prior experience supporting hiring, onboarding, interview coordination, and HR documentation strongly preferred.HRIS experience required.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF document management.Experience formatting, maintaining, and organizing HR-related documents and records.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while following established procedures and processes.Strong follow-through and commitment to accuracy.\nCompany DescriptionThe Specialized Recruiting Group (part of Express Employment Professionals) office in Tyler, TX offers a tailored approach to professional placement, delivering personalized service that matches the unique needs of both companies and talented candidates.
